ABOUT HRJ
THE VISION
My name is Hannah Rose – the jeweller and owner of Hannah Rose Jewellery, and I am delighted to make your acquaintance.

My ethos is that jewellery does not have to be expensive or complicated to be beautiful – beauty can be found in the simplest of things.
​
I specialise in silver jewellery and my vision is to create elegant, affordable jewellery to be cherished and enjoyed by you.
THE JEWELLERY
My designs are inspired by the beauty of simplicity for an understated elegance.

I craft both for my own jewellery collections and customer commissions. Jewellery is very personal to the wearer and it is my passion to share my inspirations captured in gold or silver, as well as creating meaningful one-of-a-kind designs that are truly personal to you.
I use a blend of traditional and experimental metalsmithing techniques to create beautiful, contemporary jewellery from my home workshop on the West Midlands / Warwickshire border. My signature style features the use of various metal texturing methods to create stunning effects.

Each piece is crafted with passion and careful attention by my own hands. Designs include necklaces, pendants, rings, bangles, bracelets and earrings.
ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS
I am very mindful of our beautiful Earth and the impact I may have on the environment.

Therefore, all of my designs made using recycled gold and silver as well as ethically-sourced stones and materials. Some pieces are even double recycled!
​
I avoid chemicals as much as possible and opt for natural products, including white vinegar and salt as a substitute ‘pickling solution’ and beeswax for saw lubrication. If any chemicals are required, I ensure that they are disposed of carefully.
​
I avoid plastics with a passion for my packaging and opt for environmentally-friendly and sustainable options such as cotton bags, recycled paper and card stock and biodegradable packaging to ensure minimal waste.

Any gemstones that are incorporated are sourced via my very small preferred list of UK-based suppliers.
HRJ STORY
I have always loved anything sparkly and have fond memories of visiting quaint jewellery shops in small market towns with my late father. I enjoyed looking at all of the gold, silver, diamonds, sapphires, rubies... Everything! One day whilst we were visiting, Dad surprised me with a 9ct gold heart-shaped pendant with a beautiful Australian opal set in the centre. This is one of my most treasured pieces and my passion for jewellery just enhanced even further.​

I began creating beaded jewellery in 2018 as a hobby and eventually progressed to using semi-precious beads. I enjoyed creating a variety of both simple and unique pieces and then made the bold decision to try sharing them with others.
In 2021, I progressed my crafting skills by attending silversmithing classes in the prestigious Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham initially as a distraction to cope with grief. I fell in love with metalsmithing and I quickly decided to add silver to my portfolio, spending as much of my spare time in my workshop as possible and developing my skills. The result was Hannah Rose Jewellery!

I believe jewellery is very personal to the wearer and holds significant meaning to each individual, just as my favourite gold and opal pendant does to me.
